Rectangular Fiberglass Products
At Shade Tree we use only the best components to make our fiberglass ductboard products.

Assembly of our products involves using UL Certified fiberglass board, which meets or exceeds NAIMA and SMACNA standards for fiberglass duct systems. Molded fiberglass vanes are used in all elbows and tees requiring turn vanes, and closure is accomplished using UL-181 certified heat-activated closure tape for fiberglass systems.

Duct grooving is mechanically accomplished using shiplap tooling for best construction, including stronger, truer corners. Shiplap tooling is also utilized for end connections of duct to ensure a proper fit.

All duct and fittings are made from 48" long overall duct modules. Default duct layout is configured for airflow direction from male shiplap end to female shiplap end per NAIMA specifications. Unless otherwise specified, all transitional fittings follow this pattern "From" male end "To" female end.

All duct and fittings are constructed grooved, assembled and taped. If necessary, ductwork can be made grooved only for easier transport and storage.

All fittings are constructed such that 8" tape straps on 12" centers are used where staple flaps can not be formed.

Where necessary, tie-rods and anti-sag supports using rigid conduit and volcano washers will be installed.
